Our Riptide website is considered top of the line, with many happy clients who adore the way we sort, categorize, and display books. Now we're taking all our knowledge and experience and putting it into Readership Pro, to bring you a top-of-the-line service for showcasing and marketing your books.

Meet Our Team

Tal Valante

Tal Valante

Founder

Tal is the programming power behind Riptide Publishing's acclaimed website. She has seven years of experience in web programming, from PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to Drupal 6-7. She also has extensive experience in system analysis and development, and a B.A. in Computer Sciences and Economics.

Tal's job is to make everything in Readership Pro work as it should.


Rachel Haimowitz

Rachel Haimowitz

Strategic Advisor

As an editor, Rachel has worked at Avalon Publishing, Pearson/NAF, and Upper Deck Entertainment. She began where most of us do (with copyediting and slush pile reading) and eventually advanced all the way through to acquisitions and editorial team management. When she left Manhattan publishing to freelance, she went on to developmental edit a number of projects, including two national bestsellers and a 2010 ForeWord Reviews Book of the Year winner. She’s also worked as a ghostwriter and a copyeditor, and launched and operated a retail store for seven successful years before selling to focus on the world of publishing.

Rachel's job is to help stir Readership Pro to greatness.


Chris Muldoon

Chris is an Editorial Assistant at Riptide Publishing where she is immersed in the relationship between the writers and their readers. As an avid reader of the genre herself, she has spent over 10 years digging through authors' websites and brings that element of reader experience to the Readership Pro team.

Chris's job is to bring Readership Pro to you, the writer.

Office Cat

All-around calico cat.

Sansa's job is to rule the world. In her spare time, she's responsible for deleting key documents in Readership Pro and sitting on the keyboard.
